Matt Erlandson is the inspector here at Clear Image Inspection Services. He is a native Oregonian who has lived in various locations of the Portland Metropolitan area and is quite familiar with the construction demands of this environment. 
 
Matt graduated from a Marine Engineering College in Baltimore, Maryland in 1980. He then worked as a licensed engineer for 15 years, working on a wide variety of machinery and equipment, some of which are similar to systems that may be found in your home, such as furnaces, air conditioning units, boilers, back-up generator systems, pumps, motors, fans, etc. and their associated controls. He has a comprehensive working knowledge of mechanical systems in general, and in particular those found in a home.
 
Matt is also currently a licensed electrician in the state of Oregon. He obtained his electrician’s license and worked as an electrician for 6 years in the Portland area in many different residential, commercial and industrial settings. This experience gave Matt the opportunity to view many types of building construction from the ground up and he gained enough hands-on knowledge and expertise to build much of his own home when living on the outskirts of Oregon City.
 
Now living in Lake Oswego, Matt obtained his Home Inspector’s Certification and is also licensed by the Oregon Department of Agriculture for inspecting wood destroying insects and organisms.
 
Matt has a wealth of knowledge and expertise to offer. He will work hard to gain your trust and respect. He is passionate about doing the job right, with dedication and integrity. He also thrives on sharing that knowledge with you, the homeowner, and doing whatever he can to educate you, help you and make your life a little easier during the home buying process.
 
Tracie Erlandson is the administrator/office manager. She has years of office experience and will likely be the one you initially speak with. She handles all of the scheduling, appointments and many other customer service needs that may arise. She will go the extra mile, doing whatever it takes to get your questions answered and needs met.
